Meet The Founder.
Dr. Megan Bryanton Jones
LiftedAI Analytics is run by Dr. Megan, a Calgary-based applied scientist and technology strategist with a PhD in Human Kinetics and over a decade of experience at the intersection of healthcare, sport performance, knowledge transfer and technology adoption.
Megan’s background is a combination you don’t often find in one person. Years in academia, teaching, and conducting research at the university level, gave her deep expertise in health and sport performance science, along with real, hands-on experience writing and securing competitive research grants (the same skill set she now uses to help small businesses navigate Canadian grant and tax credit programs). Teaching also trained her to take genuinely complex material and explain it in a way that actually makes sense, a skill that turns out to matter just as much for Artificial Intelligence and digital tools as it does for the classroom.
That academic foundation is paired with years of direct industry experience helping healthcare and sport performance organizations actually adopt AI-powered technology: leading customer onboarding and change management, working across engineering, clinical, and executive teams to make sure new tools got used, not just purchased, and building educational resources that closed the gap between with a technology could do and what a team actually understood about it.
Before founding LiftedAI, Megan was also on the other side of the table, as a small business owner herself, sitting across from developers who wanted a perfect technical spec before they’d start, and larger vendors who were long on sales calls and short on straight answers about what she was actually paying for. She knows what it feels like to be sold something you dont have the tools to evaluate.
That combination (scientific rigour, grant writing experience, hands-on technology implementation, a teacher’s instinct for plain language, and a small business owner’s low tolerance for being talked down to) is exactly what shapes how LiftedAI works. Megan builds and automates her own business with the same tools and workflows she recommends to clients, before she ever recommends them. That’s how she keeps overhead low enough to charge a fraction of what larger consulting firms do.
